Enhancing the online shopping experience for medical professionals through UX optimizations and innovative AR technology.
Context:
Memorial, a high-end scrubs retailer, faced major challenges with cart abandonment (51%) and product returns (34%) due to fit issues and a complex checkout process. As Design Lead, I led a team of three to streamline the shopping experience through user research, iterative design, and a rebranding strategy.
We simplified the checkout process and implemented an AR try-on feature, allowing users to visualize product fit before purchasing. These changes led to a 37% reduction in cart abandonment, a notable decrease in return rates, and improved overall user satisfaction.
